2016 Masters and Wardens Golf Tournament

Once again it is time to start getting your foursomes together for the annual Masters and Wardens golf tournament. It will be held at Colonial Ridge Golf Course in Laurens NY on Saturday August 6 starting at 8:00 AM. As usual the cost is $70.00 per person which includes golf, cart, tee pack, skins, pin shots and a steak dinner after golf. Payment is made to the golf course. Raffle tickets for 50/50 and door prizes will be available before and during the tournament, also mulligans $20.00 per team. This event raised over $ 2000.00 last year and was split between the Masters and Wardens Assoc. and the OSD Masonic Charities Corp. This year the Charities Corp. gave four $ 750.00 scholarships to deserving students in the Otsego, Schoharie and Delaware Masonic Districts. The Masters and Wardens Assoc. uses the money to defray the costs of Aprons etc. for our new District Officers as well as costs associated with the annual Investiture Service and annual picnic.

Last year saw a record turnout for this event and I hope for the same again this year. If you plan on playing please contact me with your team information no later than July 31 so the proper arrangements can be made. I look forward to seeing you all on Aug 6!
