7:00 pm, Monday, January 5, 2015, Oneonta Lodge will have a holiday social for the brothers and their families. Children and our widows are welcome.

The 66th Triennial Conclave of the Grand Encampment, Knights Templar, U.S.A. will be held at the Adams Mark Hotel, 120 Church Street, Buffalo, NY from August 8 through August 12, 2015. Our own SK David Dixon Goodwin, the Most Eminent Grand Master will be presiding as his last official act as his journey in the Grand Encampment elected line comes to a close. All Past Grand Commanders and current Grand Commandery Council Officers are encouraged to attend for voting. All Sir Knights are encouraged to attend as well. Since the Grand Commandery of New York will be the host Grand Commandery, many Sir Knights will be needed to assist in service on local committees to making this event run smoothly. All Commanderies are encouraged to bring their Beauseant and stand to this event as part of the opening ceremony. We are trying to make this a major first class event for SK Goodwin and the Grand Encampment. Please speak with this Grand Commander or one of his Aides if you are willing to assist on this event in anyway.

100th Anniversary Rededication of the Laying of the Cornerstone Celebration of the Templar Building on the Campus Community at Utica on Saturday, May 23, 2015. I am asking that as many Sir Knights and families as possible attend this event and be a part of the Honor Guard and ceremony of the day.

The Grand Commandery of New York will once again participate in the Grand Encampment Easter Sunrise Weekend at Alexander, VA on April 3-5, 2015. SK David Hardy, Chairman and SK Yves Etienne, Co-Chairman both promise to work hard to make all who attend - comfortable and to have an enjoyable time while in the Washington, DC area for this event.

Ostego Commadery will participate to the best of our ability.

Agenda: The Grand Lecturer will be covering the opening / closing of lodge, balloting, the memorial service, and floor work as time permits.

Potts Award: Lodges who have the Master, both wardens, both deacons, and both masters of ceremonies in attendance will receive this award, a prestigious honor announced during the annual Grand Lodge communication.

There will be a Co-Hosted Table Lodge at Otsego Lodge on November 8th, at 6pm. Email kdickison at hughes.net whether you can attend or not.

Sir Knights,

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer. Unfortunately, the days of good weather, which we have had too few of, are quickly coming to an end. During the last few months since our last Conclave in Illion, we have spent some very enjoyable times together at meeting and events throughout the State. Unfortunately, we have also gotten together to pay our respects to SK Donald R. Galarneau, who passed to the Celestial Garden of the Kings on July 25, 2014. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Our next Conclave is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Cortlandville Masonic Temple located at 1883 E. Homer Rd. (Rt. 13N), Cortland, New York, 13045. As usual, Lunch will start at 12:30, with the Conclave starting at 1:30 pm. As part of the afternoon's events, we will be wishing our Host, Most Illustrious Grand Master Harley R. DeShane a Very Happy Birthday, who's Birthday is on the same date as our Conclave. Please make every effort to get your reservations to me as soon as possible so that I can get them to the him in a timely basis.

Knights, I now wish to make an appeal to you, the same appeal we make each time. I know that we are all very busy, that is also one of the things that distinguishes us from other organizations, but since we only meet four (4) times per year, on the same days each year, and we do make an effort to let everyone know during each Communication all the upcoming dates, I hope you remember to set these days apart on your calendars and plan to meet with all of us. The dates of our next Conclaves are:
